Highly nutritious, immunity boosting Carrot, Ginger and Lemon Juice

Full of vitamins, this combination of warming ginger, fresh zesty lemon with sweet earthy carrots, works wonders as we enter into the colder climate to protect ourselves and our health against the flu and other viruses.

A great way to wake up and get our cells buzzing with energy, this recipe is quick and easy to prepare, and will have you in a great mood for the day. Ginger is one of natures best super roots known for its use in various forms of alternative medicine from fighting colds, the flu,  depression, chronic fatigue, viral infections and the list goes on with its powerful anti inflammatory properties it also helps digestion and reduce nausea. Combining this with  carrots which are a good source of beta carotene, vitmain A; important for immune function and promotes good vision, they contain potassium an essential mineral for controlling blood pressure, vitamin K1 for good bone health and a healthy dose of B Vitamins along with iron, calcium, magnesium, silica. Mix these with Zesty lemons containing high amounts of Vitamin C and anti oxidants which help remove toxins from our body.

  • 6 roughly chopped carrots ends removed

  • 1 small - medium sized lemon (skin on)

  • 2 inch piece of ginger 


1. Wash all produce thoroughly, cut the carrots into smaller chunks ready to juice. 

2. Rinse the ginger and peel the skin if not organic or simply wash really well, chop into 1 inch chunks

3. Wash the lemon and cut into quarters

4. Juice all ingredients until finished and drink immediately or store in airtight glass jars in the fridge for up to 72 hours if using a cold pressed juicer, if you have a centrifugal juicer you must drink these within 15-20 minutes so it does not oxidize.
